Meet our Board of Directors
President, Dr. Zachary Haston
Zachary is the President of Haston Associates, his company of 20+ years, specializing in environmental consulting. He holds a bachelor’s in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a master’s and Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering from Stanford University. In addition to his professional achievements, Zachary is committed to helping others, particularly children, which led him to become a board member and foster parent. He and his wife have opened their home to numerous foster children over the years, providing love and support for 32 kids so far.
Vice President, Bradley Kohanke
Bradley is a retired professional and published author, having most recently served as the chief human resources officer for a successful company. He holds a BBA in management with a minor in economics from Texas A&M University. Throughout his career, Bradley has achieved numerous accomplishments, including establishing a culture of inclusivity, reducing turnover rates, and implementing effective and affordable employee benefits. His top travel destination is Hawaii, where he loves exploring the beautiful islands.
Secretary, Gregory Wright
Greg is an Executive General Adjuster as a nation-wide account manager in the energy and renewable energy sector with a major independent commercial adjusting firm. He also manages large national commercial accounts for property damage such as Class A properties, public buildings, hospitals, manufacturing, and hospitality which include the highest-quality properties in the market. He holds a BBA in Finance and Accounting from The University of North Texas. In addition, Greg is committed to helping children and also serves on the board for a children's home and foster placement agency. In his personal life, he is a father of four and dedicated to wellness and helping others improve their health. This gives him a highly valued perspective to offer our mission and board members.
Treasurer, Dr. John Denson
John is the Superintendent of Moran ISD, with a diverse educational background, including a EdD in educational leadership and multiple master’s degrees. His proudest achievement is the positive impact he has made on countless students. Beyond his career and board service, John enjoys camping in his spare time. An interesting fact about John is his past as a Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Card Holder, Bull Rider, and Bareback Rider, showcasing his fearlessness and determination.
Director, Ken Curry
Ken is a retired professional with a strong background in the legal industry. He takes judicial assignments as needed, most recently serving as a visiting judge. Ken received his bachelor's degree in government from UT Arlington and a J.D. from the University of Houston. One of his proudest achievements is being elected to the District Court trial bench. In his free time, Ken enjoys woodworking. Travel is another interest of his, with Colorado being a favorite destination for its scenic beauty and tranquility. Ken has been happily married for many years, with his spouse being a significant source of support in his life.
