Eligibility Requirements for TMRC
Widow of a Texas Master Mason
Your late husband must have been a Texas Master Mason for a minimum of five years and in good standing with his lodge.
Good Health & Independence
You must be in good overall health and capable of living independently.
Asset Transfer
In exchange for lifelong care at TMRC, all assets are transferred to the Masonic Children & Family Services of Texas.
Additional Eligibility Information
- Length of Marriage: You must have been married to a Master Mason for at least three years.
- Multiple Marriages: If you’ve been married more than once, your last husband must have been a Texas Master Mason in good standing for five years.
- TMRC Requirements: The Texas Masonic Retirement Center has its own set of requirements for acceptance.
- Final Determination: Approval and placement decisions are ultimately made by the Masonic Children & Family Services of Texas.
